The White Background Years 1984-1999
Over the years Dave worked with over two thousand clients many of whom had
first noticed the large prints done using white backgrounds on his studio
walls.
While he used other backgrounds for
his portraits, most of his clients preferred the clean modern "casual" look
that his white backgrounds produced.
Today he has shed the overhead and constraits of the studio and found that working in his clients home, yard, workplace or other locations yield portraits that add an important "context" for his subjects.
